Bristlenose Pleco died. Why?

if you didn't have the tank very long, it was probably from new tank syndrome where the tank wasn't properly cycled. if you've had him a while, he might have ran out of food. plecos produce a lot of waste and if that waste isn't taken care of, the ammonia will kill any fish in the tank.
